Amy Winehouse Goes Bleach Blonde!
Maybe her Caribbean vacation rubbed off on her a little too much! Amy Winehouse opted to break free of her recent problems by lightening her hair a hue or two. Perhaps she’s hoping that the old adage “Blondes have more fun” has some truth to it.
The “Rehab” singer showed off her new locks in London earlier today, complete with some worn-out jeans, animal print flats, and a Johnny Depp “Crybaby” t-shirt.
The new look may be a warm-up for her big trip to the States next month. She’s been nominated for six Grammys, and she’s hoping to perform at the February awards show.
A source told press, “With the right preparation she should be able to light up the forthcoming award ceremonies with her stunning voice and remind people what she does best. She’s planning to do some sort of soul and Motown medley, and is even weighing up the possibility of a duet with some US stars - particularly Kanye West, who has spoken in the past of wanting to work with her.”
