Amy Winehouse Fans Out Of Luck

If you were hoping to see Amy Winehouse on tour this month or next, this news will certainly not brighten your day.  She has postponed all of her August and September dates in the US and Canada.

The Rehab singer is, once again, blaming exhaustion for the interruption in her touring schedule.  And her broken record response is starting to fall on deaf ears.

An official statement released by her rep says, “Due to the rigors involved in touring (drugs), Amy Winehouse has been advised to postpone her upcoming September U.S. and Canadian tour dates (drugs). Amy’s European and U.K. tour dates in October and November remain in place (maybe she’ll be off drugs). Plans are being made to reschedule her U.S. tour for early 2008 (as long as she doesn’t find drugs). Until then, Amy has been ordered to rest and is working with medical professionals to address her health (drug problem).”

Amy’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil confirmed to BBC Radio that they were both re-entering rehab after a short break.  And it looks like she’ll have plenty of reading material, after she was photographed swiping a New Music Express magazine from a convenient store.  Winona Ryder, anyone?
