Amy Winehouse: Doing Fantastic, Says Dad
Despite recently staying overnight at the hospital, Amy Winehouse may be getting back on track - at least that is what her father says.
Dad Mitch insists she has made a “miraculous” recovery fighting against her drug addiction. He says she is doing “fantastic.”
“I think she looks great, very bit of her — including the boobs. She’s doing fantastic and I don’t think enough credit is given to her about what she’s achieved over the last year. It’s been nothing short of miraculous.”
Mitch had previously mentioned how Amy had become obsessed with exercise.
“Everything at the moment is under control,” he said. “Sometimes — and I’m not talking about Amy — but sometimes other addictions come after another addiction.
Amy once had a work-out addiction. “One of Amy’s positive addictions is she’s got her own gym. She’s in the gym three or four hours a day. I mean boy is she fit – really, really fit. So that’s a really positive addiction.
But it isn’t her only addiction, he says. “But addictions can come in groups. It can be buying stuff, buying stuff that’s not necessary. She’s been through that as well. The whole process is one of recovery.”
