America Ferrera Gets Back to Ugly Betty
It’s been one of the most surprising television hits this decade, and Ugly Betty’s third season looks to be the strongest one yet. And America Ferrera was spotted on location in New York City yesterday with her nose to the grindstone, cranking out a few more hilarious scenes.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” cutie looked as awkward as ever, sporting a pink belted dress teamed with a pair of green and black striped stockings and black high heels.
Also in the house were costars Becki Newton, sporting a sexy form fitting short grey belted dress with heels, and Michael Urie, in a funky button-up shirt with a red tie and khakis.
When asked in a recent interview what advice she’d give girls that get called ‘ugly’ America replied, “My advice wouldn’t be to them. It would be to the people who think they know what the definition of ‘ugly’ is. Who are you to define what ugly is or what beauty is? That’s quite an assumption!”
