America Ferrera: Back on the Ugly Betty Set

Looking cute in a blue and white checkered sundress with a red and white striped button up cardigan and tan flip flops, America Ferrera was spotted hard at work on the set of her hit TV series Ugly Betty.

Ferrera has been a busy lady lately, as she recently took top honors at Sunday’s ALMA Awards, which recognize achievements by Hispanic artists.

The 24-year-old actress was named Chevy Entertainer of the Year for her on-screen work as Betty Suarez in Ugly Betty. The ABC comedy series won awards for directing and best performance by a Latino-led ensemble cast.

Rightfully so, Ferrera was also recognized for her off-screen efforts to encourage young people to get involved in the political process.
