AMA’s Announce 2007 Nominations

It’s that time of the year again. Time for the 2007 American Music Awards, that is. And this year there are plenty of categories embroiled in fierce competition.

According to the list of nominees, Beyonce, Justin Timerlake, Chris Daughtry, and Linkin Park will be competing in three categories each, while Akon, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Young Jeezy, T.I., and Carrie Underwood each have two chances to take home an award.

The show will take place November 18th in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. Performing the hosting duties will be none other than Jimmy Kimmel.

As far as musical performances, Fergie, Rihanna, Daughtry, and Celine Dion are all scheduled to rock the stage. And this year, the voting will be a bit different.

A spokesman for the show told press, “Now instead of limiting the voting to thousands of people, millions of people will have the opportunity to vote.” All of America is invited to go to amc.abc.com to cast their vote for the nominees.
