Ali Larter: Boldness On and Off Screen
If you find yourself staring at the magazines in the check-out lane at your local grocery store, that hot blonde on the cover of Cosmo is Ali Larter. She’s a force to be reckoned with on her hit show Heroes. But, as evident in a recent interview, she’s just as intense when the camera isn’t on her.
“I’ll always be a Jersey girl,” she says. “I don’t always get my way, but you’ll know exactly how I feel about it.”
This girl is confident. While most ladies are afraid to talk commitment with their men, Ali had no problems telling boyfriend Hayes MacArthur how much she liked him. “I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow.”
And two years later they’re still going strong. “Now that I’m actually in love, I know that what came before wasn’t real,” she says. “It’s about being there for each other through the ups and downs of life. I do want to get engaged and married ... and I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”
When it comes to her diet, Larter keeps it simple, and indulges herself frequently. “I love wine, bread and cheese. I just have to cut out the bread sometimes. Last night, I drank some merlot and made potatoes au gratin with a rib-eye steak,” she says. “It was amazing. I hope to always find that balance.”
