Akon’s Underage Dance Partner Given Award

You all remember earlier this year when hip hop star Akon was busted for simulating sex with a then 14-year-old onstage at one of his concerts.  What you may not know is that she is now being given an award.

Danah Alleyne, the Trinidadian girl that got freaky with Akon is being honored with a “Youth Motivator Award.” It’s kinda hard to believe, really, and the entire nation of Trinidad is pretty up in arms about it.

Sources say that the 100% Crime Free Youth Committee made a mistake and named Alleyne as a joke.  Off the record, they said, “We initially gave it to Danah as a joke, but now that the media (has) found out about it - we have no choice but to give it to her ... it’s really embarrassing because now our organization looks like we’re being run by a bunch of idiots.”

But on the record, they’re singing a different tune.  According to the Trinidad Express, “(Danah) was the most courageous person for the first half of 2007.” We all get our 15 minutes of fame.  But it looks like Danah is getting hers twice.
