first of all, that 14 year old girl, like someone has previously stated, had no business being in that club. It is not Akon’s fault that he happened to freak dancing with an underage female that ad no business being there in the first place. It’s the clubs fault for letting her in. They should be sued and criticized NOT Akon. What is he supposed to do? He told the club to be sure that only adults were permitted into the club. Was he supposed to stop the whole concert and ask for ID? No! That is the club’s responsibility. Once again, NOT his! Plus, that girl looks WAAAYYYYY older than 14. What 14 year old girl you know wears clothes like that? She oughta be ashamed of herself, not Akon. It was very professional for Akon to apologize, but i don’t feel he owes anyone any kind of an apology. Theres nothing wrong with dirty dancing. In trinidad that kind of dancing is like a way of life down there just like when guys in alberta get wasted and party at a hocky game. I have dated a trinidadian girl before so i know all about wha its like down there. that kind of sexual way of dirty dancing is the way everyone dances in all the clubs down there. Do you get mad at arabs for keeping some of there beliefs and wearing terbans to school? No. so you shouldnt get mad over a little dance akon did. he was just enjoying his way of life of how things are done back where he lives. I think that this is sad because akon is a good artist but he just had to get mixed up with that girl. Even if she wasn’t 15 years old, he shouldn’t have danced like that with her. But I do admit that she knew what she was doing when she got on tht stage. They say she was a preacher’s child. Guess she wasn’t so much of a perfect angel. I am glad that he choose to apolgize though becuse whether or not they both played apart in the dirty dancing on the stage. That club needs to start checking id’s better.
