Aguilera To Guest Star On CSI: New York

Christina Aguilera has decided to put down the mic to do a little acting. It has been announced that the pop star has signed on to appear in an episode of “CSI: New York.”

Aguilera is reportedly eager to put her fledgling acting skills to the test, having previously only voiced a small part in the animated movie “Shark Tale”.

The executive producer of “CSI: New York”, Anthony Zuiker, has confirmed Christina’s inclusion on the show, saying, “Christina’s a fan of the show, and we’re excited to have her. The episode will probably explore the topic of battered women.”

Aguilera has revealed in the past that her father physically abused her mother when she was a child, possibly impacting Zuiker’s episode topic decision.
