Adam Lambert Talks Sexuality
With the release of his debut album For Your Entertainment just around the corner, Adam Lambert is clearing up all issues surrounding his sexuality.
Following his “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay” declaration in June’s Rolling Stone magazine, Lambert says he never had a big ‘coming out’ moment because he never hid his homosexuality.
The “American Idol” alum explained, “There was never any deliberate, like, ‘I’m going to hint now…’ because I was never in the closet.”
He continued, “I think the whole magic of this moment is that I’m not alienating anybody. I’m not trying to, anyway. I want as many people to feel like they can like the music. I don’t want to edit myself to the point where I feel like I don’t have integrity… It’s almost like being a political figure. It’s like a balancing act.”
