Adam Lambert Talks AMA Performance
It’s been the talk of the entertainment industry all week, and this morning (November 25) Adam Lambert discussed his performance on the 2009 American Music Awards during an interview on “The Early Show.”
The “For Your Entertainment” singer explained that while he knew his antics were a bit racy, he had no idea there would be so much controversy.
“I admit, I did get carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was just to interpret the lyrics to my song and have a good time up there.”
Adam continued, “ABC was taken a little by surprise—and that wasn’t my intention. I wasn’t being sneaky. It got the most of me.”
Lambert also says he hopes he hasn’t left a sour taste in his fans’ mouths. “This is one song, one production number. I hope people don’t put me in a box and say, ‘Oh, he’s nasty and he’s going to be that way all the time!’ It was one performance.”

I liked Adam and I didn’t care a bit about him being gay at all...but using it in such a disgusting commercial way justs makes me wonder… is adam letting go witht he flow? (i mean the disgusting flow that carried away Lohan and many others)
I appreciate him as a singer and I’m not narrow minded at all but i think he’s going too far.. people don’t need to be puked in the face with his already well-known sexual preference… and we didn’t care because we cared Adam as a singer and we appreciated him for his vocals so focus on that Adam! u don’t need to fall that low (like Britney and pals) , you are talented! so we don’t need to see oral sex scenes to pay attention to you… just do what you can do and it is singing!! for sexual stuff we have internet to search for tons of porn, just keep it outside from the arena please!!

I liked Adam。Maybe some people thought his performance is crazy,but i thought that is his style. i like his song.
