Abbie Cornish Dazzles at “Bright Star” Premiere

Showing off her style on the red carpet, Abbie Cornish hit up the 2009 Cannes International Film Festival premiere of “bright Star” on Friday (May 15).

With boyfriend Ryan Phillippe nowhere to be seen, the Aussie beauty looked lovely in a lavender, one-shoulder gown with a long train as she posed for photogs on-hand.

Also in attendance for the Cannes screening were co-star Ben Wishaw and director Jane Campion, who gathered around Abbie for a few group shots.

The drama is based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats’ untimely death at age 25.
