America Ferrera: “Ugly Betty” Beauty

Having a hit network television sitcom is hard work!  And this past week, America Ferrera was spotted on the New York City set of her show “Ugly Betty” putting in some weekend hours.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” cutie looked hilarious as she filmed scenes for an upcoming episode, sporting an awkward yellow wool topcoat overtop a multi-colored silk printed dress with purple stockings, brown boots, an orange scarf, and powder blue gloves.

No More “Ugly Betty” for Lindsay Lohan

She’s been a recurring guest star on ABC’s “Ugly Betty” this season, but it seems Lindsay Lohan won’t be invited back for more once her episodes are over.

According to an industry source, “They don’t plan to have her back for more episodes.  She was not so interested in creating a character.  She was more interested in just playing herself, and that doesn’t work on a show like this with such heightened reality.”
