Tom, Katie and Suri Bid Farewell To NYC

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have ended their short stay in New York City, getting a lot accomplished over the past few days.

Just yesterday, Tom attended another press junket for his latest film “Lions for Lambs” while Katie and Suri left the hotel 30 minutes later for a Chelsea Studios photo shoot.

Tom Cruise Impresses Those Around Him

Tom Cruise was spotted taking his two lovely ladies to a Pier 59 Studios photo shoot yesterday, as photographers swarmed their Midtown hotel in hopes of catching a shot of the Cruise clan.

The 45-year-old Top Gun actor has been in NYC promoting his upcoming wartime suspense tale Lions For Lambs, after a long stay in Berlin working on another movie in the pipelines titled Valkyrie.

Spotted out yesterday all by her lonesome, this morning’s outing in the Big Apple was a different story for Katie Holmes.

The Batman Begins actress was spotted on a walk around the Upper East side of Manhattan with the company of her 17-month-old daughter Suri. The two young ladies even briefly met up with papa Cruise, before venturing out of sight.

TomKat Can’t Tell Suri “No”

This is bizarre.  According to Scientology, parents are supposed to always encourage their children rather than scold them.  And apparently for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, it means they rarely tell Suri “no.”

According to a source, “Tom and Katie have a hard time saying no to Suri. It’s all about being positive and supportive. Scientology advises parents to try to be the child’s friend. They don’t scold their children, but instead explain that bad behavior is the ‘wrong action’.”

Tom Cruise Extorter Commits Suicide

In a story that’s straight out of left field, “The Sultan of Sleaze” David Schmidt has apparently taken his own life.  Authorities found his body in his home this past Friday. 

The details of his death are still undisclosed, although according to George Rush of the Daily News gossip column, it wasn’t a huge surprise.  Two weeks prior to his suicide, Schmidt had reportedly tried, and failed, to kill himself.
