ABC Up-Front Party: Fall Lineup Poised To Please

As we prepare for a summer full of reruns, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  ABC Network just announced their proposed fall lineup at their annual Up Front event, and it’s gonna be good.

The star-studded roster on ABC this fall will include Dylan McDermott “The Practice”, Christina Applegate “Jesse”, Peter Krause “Six Feet Under”, Jerry O’Connell “Crossing Jordan”, Taye Diggs, Donald Sutherland, Angie Harmon, Amy Brenneman, Tim Daly, Chi McBride, Michael Vartan and Joshua Malina.  Not bad, eh?

Teri Hatcher Claims She Is “Too Old To Act”

Most actresses are dying for a role as big as Teri Hatcher’s character in ‘Desperate Housewives’. Teri, on the other hand, is slowing down and eventually hopes to work behind the scenes because she’s getting “too old to act”.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star has just sold a new TV show to a network and is planning to grow old gracefully “behind the camera.”

Teri told Easy Living magazine, “I’ve just sold my first TV show to a network. It’s a comedy and it may never make it to air but it’s exciting to be behind the camera. I’m writing a book too! I’m trying to build a business that will allow me not to be in front of the camera, because, you know, I’m old!”

Teri Hatcher Reveals Friendship With George H.W. Bush

It seems as if Teri Hatcher is hanging out with a different kind of A-lister than we’re used to from a Hollywood starlet.

According to an All Headline News release, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress has been spotted out and about with “none other than the former President of the United States, George Bush Sr.”

Teri, who has a daughter named Emerson, was seen out enjoying a lunch date with the elder Bush this past week.
