Punk’d Pulls The Plug

How will the world go on?  How will we fill the void?  If you love Punk’d as much as I do, you are asking yourself the same questions.  On Monday, MTV Newtworks Music Group entertainment president Brian Graden said the show is officially finished after this upcoming season.

This isn’t the first time such an announcement has been made. In December 2003, following the show’s second season, executive producer Ashton Kutcher said he was pulling the plug. Speculation immediately arose that it was a ploy to lower the guard of celebrity targets; indeed, “Punk’d” returned in April 2004.

Richard Gere On The Auction Block

If you have always wanted to have lunch with Richard Gere, you just got one step closer to your dream. The “Pretty Woman” actor is offering fans the chance to have a private lunch with him in an online auction.

The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial human rights organization is the beneficiary of over a hundred lots being auctioned off.  Lunch with Gere at his still-to-be-opened restaurant in New York City is currently fetching around $13,500, but bids are still coming in. 

Piven Leaves DVD Tip, Banned From Nobu

Jeremy Piven made some new enemies recently with his less than pleasant demeanor at a Japanese Restaurant in Aspen.

The famed actor from the hit HBO series Entourage decided that after the meal, instead of tipping with cash, he would use other means.

Piven was eating at Nobu Matsushisa’s restaurant when the incident occurred.  A witness told The New York Daily News that “It was a very busy night, but a table, although cramped, was provided. On his way out, he made a nasty comment to the manager: ‘Thanks for nothing.’”

The 54-year-old wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne has quite a penchant for running her mouth.  Her vicious tongue has gotten her plenty of attention. Lady Osbourne made some indiscreet remarks to former British tabloid editor and current “America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan.
