She was arrested back in June for trying to buy cocaine, and now Tatum O’Neal’s father and half-brother are in trouble for drug possession charges.

The “Wicked Wicked Games” actress recently spoke to press about the dangers of drug use, and her concern for her family members.  “Addiction, if untreated, can lead to jail, institutions and death.  I love them both and I am sorry to hear about this.”

Tatum O’Neal Steps Out Following Drug Arrest

After recently being arrested for buying cocaine in New York City, Tatum O’Neal was spotted leaving her apartment in the Lower East Side of Manhattan on Tuesday morning (June 3).

The 44-year-old actress, who’s due back in court on July 28th to face a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, has already spoken to press following the incident - saying that this arrest helped save her.

Just when we thought Amy Winehouse had cornered the market on crazy celebrity drug binges, Tatum O’Neal was arrested yesterday on charges of drug possession.

According to reports, the “Paper Moon” actress was observed buying crack cocaine from a 33-year-old man (also arrested) outside her New York City home around 7:30 last night.
