One of the great things about having celebrity parents is getting to do pretty much whatever you want whenever you want.  And yesterday Suri Cruise was spotted living it up in New York City.

The adorable 2-year-old was seen being carried by her mother Katie Holmes, on their way to do some pottery painting on Manhattan’s Upper East Side at the Make store.

By day she’s a dedicated actress constantly honing her skills for her upcoming Broadway debut.  And by night, Katie Holmes is a doting mother to her adorable daughter Suri.

Following yet another long day of “All My Sons” rehearsals, the “Mad Money” mommy was spotted out and about in downtown Manhattan spending some quality time with her two-year-old.

With her husband Tom Cruise headed home following a weekend visit, Katie Holmes decided to spend Sunday afternoon out in New York City with her daughter Suri Cruise.

The mother/daughter duo first made their way to a local park, playing on the slide and swings before venturing over to a nearby “wish” fountain.

Spending the weekend together in New York City, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were spotted out and about doing their own things on Saturday morning (August 16).

While Katie continued along with rehearsals for her upcoming Broadway debut in “All My Sons,” her “Top Gun” hubby took their daughter Suri to the indoor playground at Chelsea Piers.

The New York City paparazzi hit the jackpot when they stumbled on the celebrity double date as they left the swanky Nobu restaurant following a gourmet Japanese feast.
