Mary-Kate Olsen Gets Bopped On The Noggin

There’s nothing like getting beaned on the head to ruin a night out in LA.  Just ask Mary-Kate Olsen.  Upon her arrival at Les Deux, the Full House hottie was knocked over by a camera.

Apparently, Olsen fell to the ground after being hit on the forehead by a paparazzo’s camera.  She dropped some personal items and money before being scraped off the pavement by her posse.

2007 Teen Choice Awards Honor Best In Entertainment

Last night was a big deal for many celebrities.  The Fox Network held their annual Teen Choice Awards at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and passed out life-size surfboards in lieu of statuettes.  Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon shared the hosting duties.

The big winners of the night included “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” with a win in the Choice Movie: Action Adventure category.  Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Bill Nighy also received surfboards.

Keira Knightley Becomes Coco Chanel

While her latest film Atonement is getting all kinds of pre-release buzz, Keira Knightley already has her sights set on a new project… playing Coco Chanel in a filmography of the designer.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has also signed a modeling contract with Chanel to replace Kate Moss as the brand’s face.  She will be paid $1 million for three years.

Jessica Simpson Dinner Theatre

How surprised would you be if you were out to a lovely elegant dinner and all of a sudden Jessica Simpson showed up crooning her little heart out?  Well, diners at Shreveport, Louisiana’s Olive Street Bistro were surprised as heck!

The former Newlywed star chose the restaurant to celebrate her BFF/hairstylist Ken Pave’s birthday, and decided to give him an impromptu concert for the occasion.

Nicole Richie: Scandal In The Sheriff’s Office?

While she should still be spending time behind bars, instead, Nicole Richie is enjoying the finer things in life. The Simple Life star was spotted early Saturday (August 25) heading for a brunch outing at the Four Seasons Hotel in Pasadena. And that sure beats jail slop!

Anyways, the latest development in the Nicole Richie 82 minute jail stay saga comes out of the sheriff’s office responsible for letting her out early. The office has commented in response to criticism claiming that celebrities receive preferential treatment from the legal system.
