Britney Spears Says “Who’s Keira Knightley?”

As if the drama surrounding her custody battle with Kevin Federline isn’t enough, Britney Spears has decided to engage in a little back-and-forth with Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira Knightley.

It was actually Keira who got the ball rolling, as the British starlet voiced her disapproval over female celebrities (Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, etc) who expose a little too much of themselves to the paparazzi during their nights on the town.

Charlize Theron Wants The Troops Home From Iraq

In the past, some Hollywood heavyweights have felt the need to voice their opinion in regards to current political events.  Charlize Theron is the latest star to walk the volatile line by calling for the removal of US troops in Iraq.

The Oscar-winning actress spoke at the Venice Film Festival, where her latest film, In The Valley of Elah, is in competition.  Co-starring Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones, the film is based on the true story of a soldier who went missing on his first weekend back from serving in Iraq.  Theron plays Emily Sanders, the detective leading the investigation into the disappearance of the soldier.

Rihanna Quashes Romance Rumors

Rihanna is denying rumors that she’s romantically involved with Transformers star Shia LeBeouf. Talk of possible coupledom began when the two were photographed by the paparazzi while getting cozy at an L.A. nightclub.

Shia’s next project is the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones series, and according to insiders the romantic rumors were “all the talk of the Indiana Jones 4 set.” A second supposed sighting of the two at a romantic dinner only added fuel to the fire.

Miley Cyrus Readies For “The Best Of Both Worlds” Tour

Disney star Miley Cyrus is going on tour this fall. The teen sensation is busy preparing for what’s sure to be an interesting show, as she’ll be performing the dual role of herself and Hannah Montana (her Disney alter-ego) for the first time.

The current schedule for the 14-year old rising star calls for 54 stops on the tour, titled “The Best of Both Worlds.” Tickets for the concerts are being released in batches, with the initial push containing the first 17 dates immediately selling out upon release. Meanwhile, tickets for the remaining dates are scheduled to go on sale starting September 15th.

Jude Law and George Clooney Do Venice

If you’re an Italian woman in Venice this week, there’s a little more eye candy than usual, courtesy of the Venice Film Festival.  Stars like George Clooney and Jude Law are giving the ladies a reason to spend a little extra time in front of the mirror.

Jude led the pack of charming, handsome men gathering in the fair city to celebrate another year of top-notch cinema.  He was seen in a gondola with none other than Michael Caine, another English charmer.
