Sharon Stone and Friends Raise AIDS Awareness
The late motif in Hollywood seems to be using fame for the benefit of the less fortunate. And Sharon Stone, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have taken on the challenge of raising awarness of the AIDS epidemic in a very unlikely place.
The controversy over the United Arab Emirates project is that being gay is illegal. And since the UAE is so discriminatory, humanitarian efforts have been complicated. But the celebrity attention to such a cause has been very positive for the AIDS victims in the UAE.
