It can be intimidating for new mothers these days.  In addition to the whole new world of taking care of a newborn and maintaining a family, there is this emerging phenomenon of “have it all” mothers in Hollywood.  Every time you turn on the television or hop on the Internet there are constant images of celebrity children (both biological and adopted) alongside their enormously successful movie star moms.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes and Gwen Stefani top the list of celeb mommies that appear to have paired career success with motherhood. On the other side of that coin are experts that say that such a perception is unrealistic. 

Britney Spears’ Budding New Locks Are “Hot”

Will Britney Spears still be wearing a wig when her expected album release date of October rolls around? According to one of the pop princess’ back-up dancers, Crisilla Crossland, Brit could drop the hair pieces now… if she isn’t already too addicted to the variety that wigs and hats have to offer.

When the topic of Britney’s budding new locks came up, Crossland told the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper, “It’s grown about two inches and it looks hot. She looks so good she should model. She (Britney) joked to us ‘Would y’all cut your hair?’ But none of us have.”

Britney Spears: House of Blues Concerts?

Britney Spears has been keeping her schedule jam-packed, continuing rehearsals on Thursday for her rumored upcoming House of Blues performances next week.

Spears, who is also said to be penning a tell-all book, was spotted walking out of Millennium Dance Studio with 19-month-old son Sean Preston, carried by her cousin, Allie. Her other son, Jayden James, meanwhile, was transported by a security officer in a baby carrier covered by blankets.

Britney Spears Shops and Tans Amid Rumors

Rumors ranging everywhere from ”Britney Spears is going to become a stay-at-home mom” to a possible “Britney and Sanjaya duet” have been dominating gossip headlines lately. Trying not to get caught up in all of the hoopla, Britney has kept busy shopping and hitting up her favorite tanning booth.

The first rumor started with a source for X17 stating, ““Britney said that Sean and Jayden are the loves of her life and that she enjoys every moment with her kids. Britney even talked about being a stay-at-home mom, saying that she loves it and that because of her boys, she’s not looking forward to going back to work!”
