Divorce is a tricky thing.  Not only does it destroy families and put children in the middle, but it also has a tendency to drag on for ages.  Reese Witherspoon’s divorce from Ryan Phillippe is starting to look very similar to other Hollywood splits - messy.

Apparently Reese is attempting to make off with their two children. She had requested primary custody of Ava, seven, and Deacon, three, in her November filing.  Ryan isn’t too keen on that, taking legal action of his own.

Ryan “Walking Billboard” Phillippe’s Charity Efforts

In a possible attempt to swoop in and sweep Angelina Jolie off her feet, Ryan Phillippe has turned himself into a walking billboard for global relief efforts.

Phillippe, while out and about in West Hollywood on Wednesday, showed his support for the nonprofit Children’s Defense Fund with what appears to be a homemade t-shirt.

Reese Witherspoon’s Easter Egg Hunt

Reese Witherspoon left behind supposed boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaaal and spent Easter Sunday with her two children.

Reese was all smiles at The Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills, accompanied by 7-year-old daughter Ava and 3-year-old son Deacon.

Ashlee Simpson is workin’ it these days. Sounds like a little black dress can be a girl’s best friend.  It worked on Ryan Phillippe! The 32-year-old star of such movies as Crash, Cruel Intentions and Antitrust met Simpson at Les Deux. 

The 22-year-old singer was partying with friends, when Phillippe was shown to her table (the only table with room enough to accommodate him).
