Hollywood has been reeling from the tragic loss of Farrah Fawcett last week, and yesterday (June 30) the late actress’ body was laid to rest.

According to a report, family and close friends attended a private funeral at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels church in Los Angeles around 4pm.

Passing away at Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica earlier today, Farrah Fawcett is receiving an outpouring of kind words from family, friends and fans – who’ve already amassed a pile of flowers and trinkets at her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Speaking with Us magazine, Farrah’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal said, “Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”

After taking time inside to grieve the loss of his lady, Ryan O’Neal was spotted leaving hospital for the last time after Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer earlier today (June 25).

The 68-year-old actor toted a few belongings out of the St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, getting into his car and driving off from quickly-assembling media outlets.
