Continuing along with what was quite the busy day, Rihanna looked simply elegant as she attended the 2009 Women of the Year hosted by Glamour Magazine in New York City on Monday (November 9).

The Barbadian beauty was followed by fans and paparazzi all the way from her hotel to the Carnegie Hall venue, where she was honored as “The Back-On-Top Superstar”.

The “Disturbia” damsel looked playfully sexy in a black-and-red hooded sweatshirt with ankle boots, striking a few poses as she headed past paparazzi.

She’s been working overtime gearing up for the release of her new album Rated R, due in stores November 23rd, and Rihanna was spotted arriving at MTV Studios in New York City earlier today (November 9).

The “Take a Bow” songstress looked focused as she strolled past the paparazzi, sporting an all-black ensemble along with a captain’s hat and sunglasses as she readied for an appearance on “It’s On with Alexa Chung”.

The “Take a Bow” songstress explained that when Chris abused her, she believed he had blacked out.  “He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked-out. There was no person when I looked at him.”
