According to some celebrities, the key to keeping their sanity is privacy.  And Nicole Kidman is one of those celebrities.  However, in a recent interview, the Oscar-winning actress opened up (a little) about her personal life.

The first topic on Nicole’s list was her miscarriage with ex-husband Tom Cruise.  The pair were married for nearly 10 years, and at the beginning of their marriage she had a tragic lost pregnancy.  “From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies.  And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when we would adopt (daughter) Bella.”

With all the celebrity pregnancies going on as of late, maternity shops and baby botiques in Los Angeles must be making a killing!  And Salma Hayek is latest mommy-to-be to be honored with a massive baby shower.

The Desperado babe has made it to the nine month mark in her pregnancy, and her friends and family decided to hook her up with all kinds of gifts.  The list of goodies includes Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black ($325) and pink ($425), as well as two Bloom high chairs ($400 each) and Graco Snug Ride car seats ($130 each).

Baby Gift Shopping With Paris Hilton

Always the consummate socialite, Paris Hilton spent her Thursday afternoon shopping for baby gifts.  Her BFF Nicole Richie is five months preggers, and it’s almost time for a super fabulous baby shower!

The stop - Intuition.  The Simple Life starlet checked out the selection of infant-ish stuff at the designer Hollywood boutique.  And it appeared to be worth the trip, as Paris emerged with a dozen bags filled with gifts for the new Richie/Madden collaboration.

Bridget Moynahan’s Baby Arrives!

Yesterday marked a huge day in the life of actress Bridget Moynahan.  She welcomed a baby boy into the world at a hospital in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old is reportedly thrilled to be a new mommy.  And according to her publicist, “Mother and baby are doing well.”

Another Confirmation Of Christina Aguilera’s Pregnancy

Sometimes you just have to come clean. But Christina Aguilera hasn’t reached that point yet.  She refuses to confirm her pregnancy rumors, but keeps dropping hints that she has a bun in the oven.

The latest clue came to us when she was overheard telling her obstetrician’s receptionist about her excitement to be a mother soon.  According to a source, “Christina couldn’t contain her excitement. She said she couldn’t wait for the baby to be born.”
