American Idol Officially Introduces Kara DioGuardi
It’s been the buzz surrounding American Idol all week, and yesterday (August 26) Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul officially welcomed Kara DioGuardi to their judges team.
The American Idol peeps all convened at Chelsea Piers in New York City for a red carpet press event where they posed for pictures and answered questions.

American Idol Adds Kara DioGuardi as a Judge
It looks like the time-honored trio of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul is about to augmented to include an additional female judge.
In a statement released earlier today, American Idol creator Simon Fuller announced that the uber-popular singing competition judges panel will include Kara DioGuardi when Season 8 begins in January of 2009.

Paula Abdul Adds Her Own Flavor To FiFi Awards
It seems there are award shows for everything these days. One such show honors achievement in the designer fragrance realm; the FiFi Awards. Paula Abdul graced the stage for this year’s event, and it wasn’t pretty.
First of all, the “Forever Your Girl” singer showed up 30 minutes late. She was scheduled to open the evening with a monologue, and therefore the event couldn’t begin until she arrived.
