Can I have your autograph? The Good, bad and ugly…

Britney Spears makes it to the top of another “worst” list. And this time, it has nothing to do with clothes or singing.

Autograph Collector magazine, saying “no one is better at showing their fans how little they mean to them,” names Spears its worst celebrity signer of the year in its 13th annual survey of who’s cool and who’s cruel to the fans.

“While we’re the first to defend any celebrity’s right not to sign, how do you defend rude, crude and downright unattractive behavior?” asks Steve Cyrkin, publisher and editor in chief. “As one collector told us, ‘Britney has done all she can to earn her nickname, Bitchney Sneers.’ “

But Hollywood isn’t all scowls and passive aggression. Turns out Johnny Depp is pretty nice. “He never says ‘No’ to autograph seekers,” Cyrkin says.

The other good guys on the Autograph Collector list: Matt Damon, Tom Cruise, Mike Myers, Angelina Jolie, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff and Charlize Theron.

The naughty list includes Cameron Diaz, Tobey Maguire, Justin Timberlake, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eminem, Halle Berry and Paris Hilton.

Well, booo to the naughty list. Remember folks, if it weren’t for the fans you’d be doing dinner theater or working at McDonalds!  And who pays your million dollar salary by going to see your movies, buy your gear, downloading your music from iTunes? Us. We do.  So play nice!

Paris Hilton named “Most Fascinating People of 2004” by Barbara Walters

Paris Hilton has been named one of the “most fascinating people of 2004” by Barbara Walters.

In an interview for the show, Walters asks Hilton about the now infamous sex video with her then-boyfriend Richard Salomon. The tape surfaced just before the premiere of Hilton’s Fox reality show, “The Simple Life.”

“I was in love with him and people, I think, do that sometimes,” Hilton says. “I never thought that it would get out and that I’d be hurt like that.

“It was (very painful). I thought it was the end. I thought, I was so embarrassed for all my teenage fans and my younger fans. I thought it was over.”

Nevertheless, “The Simple Life” became a hit, and spawned a second series as well.

Also in the interview, Hilton reveals that she doesn’t just sit around saying “That’s hot” all day: she even reads books. And the most recent one? Fittingly, “Maneater,” a novel about an uninhibited L.A. woman’s search for a man.

Paris Hilton, 23, ensured herself more press coverage as she flirted with the dark side and donned a brunette do for a Nov. 28 trip to Jerry’s Deli in L.A.

Of course, news spread quickly that the famously blonde heiress went the way of brown-haired sister Nicky.

I don’t know about you, but I think she looks a lot better as a brunette.  Platinum blonde just seems to yesterday.

Paris Hilton booed off stage at Miami nightclub

Did Socialite Paris Hilton’s attempt to establish her pop career fail miserably when she was booed off-stage during at a Miami nightspot?

Long known for her partying and shopping exploits, Hilton is keen to have a serious career since becoming an international name in 2003 when her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Rick Soloman was leaked on the Internet.

Clubbers were less than impressed with The Simple Life star’s rendition of her debut single Screwed, which was supposedly “lip-synched.”

I don’t know about you but I’m personally dying to hear Paris’ version of “Screwed”!!! And in my opinion, she can’t be much worse than half of the so-called singers out there!
