Setting a good example for her daughter Harlow Winter, Nicole Richie was spotted taking care of her DUI class obligation on Monday (October 6) rather than her usual Wednesday routine.

The “Simple Life” sweetie carried her usual cup of coffee as she sauntered out of class sporting sunglasses, a black scoopneck top, denim cutoffs, and a pair of flip flops.

Fulfilling her legal obligations, Nicole Richie was spotted out for her weekly traffic school class in Van Nuys, California on Wednesday (September 17).

The former “Simple Life” starlet wore a black top with a plunging neckline paired with ragged jean shorts and a pair of flip flops as she carried her coffee in for her day’s lesson.

Now that she’s a mommy, Nicole Richie has to be sure to dot all of her I’s and cross all of her T’s.  And yesterday she was spotted making a good example for her little Harlow Winter.

The paparazzi caught up to the “Simple Life” starlet on her way to another session of court-mandated driving school in Los Angeles, California.  And it sounds like her diligence in carrying out her sentence has made a good impression on the legal system.

The ladies were joined by Olsen’s boyfriend Nate Lowman, as well as LA Reid and Benny Medina as they dined at upscale Manhattan restaurant Cipriani following the Marc Jacobs show.
