Katie Holmes & Nicole Kidman Join Forces

It appears as if Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes not only share a mutual respect for one another, but parenting advice as well. Holmes became stepmother to Kidman’s adopted children, Isabella and Conor, upon marrying Tom Cruise. The two actresses are bucking the trends of animosity and competition that typically result from this type of scenario, and amicably consult with one another on the upbringing of the children.

A source from the Post Chronicle said: “Katie was having lunch with friends in Beverly Hills when Isabella rang her to talk to her about a party she was going to.”

“Katie said, ‘That was Bella. She wants to wear a dress to a birthday party but I think it is much too grown up for her. But she says her mother approves. So I need to check with Nicole.’”

Nicole Kidman Involved In ‘On The Set’ Accident

In a breaking news release that has sent paparazzi scurryining with their olympus cameras and tape recorders, Nicole Kidman was rushed to a hospital on Thursday January 25, after the car she was in crashed into a light pole, police said.

Her husband, Keith Urban who was recently released from rehab, was on the set with her and witnessed the accident, as well as her son Connor Cruise, 11, Us Weekly reported.

According to the magazine, Nicole was on set, driving a Jaguar and was trying to get rid of a crowd of zombie-like characters for a scene in “The Invasion.” The car was being towed by a rig, driven by a stunt driver, so that it would appear that she was really driving.

“The stunt driver apparently went off course and hit a light post at about 1 a.m.,” police Officer Karen Smith said.

Keith Urban Sends A Message To Fans, Wife

In a video posted on his web site, Keith Urban praised his wife, Nicole Kidman, and thanked his fans for their support during his three-month stay at a rehab center for alcohol abuse treatment.

According to reports from the associated press, Urban entered the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on Oct. 19 for what he thought would be a 30-day stay.

The country crooner, who has publicly acknowledged a former addiction to cocaine, said he decided to stay for three months because he realized that learning to abstain was only part of the process to recovery.

“Learning about abstinence was one thing, but then there was all this other area of my life to start learning about, and so 30 days became 60, and 60 days became 90, and with each week that passed I found myself really learning how to surrender,” he said.
