Daughtry is back on top! The edgy American Idol alum found his self-titled album back at No. 1 as Norah Jones’ Not Too Late slipped in The Billboard 200. 

Many have expected Daughtry to trail off, but the southern rocker has sure shown critics as his music continues to sell.  Daughtry’s rocker style combined with American Idol exposure has kept him in the charts for 15 weeks.

Timbaland and Timberlake To Help Spears?

The ultimate beat-crafter, Timbaland, who has produced hits for Justin Timberlake amongst others, is dying help the troubled Britney Spears get it together again.

“I feel her pain; it really bothers me,” the 34-year-old rapper-producer told Entertainment Weekly. “I’m the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas and work it out.”

Lance Bass Inks Tell-All Book

Former ‘N SYNCer Lance Bass “tells all about his life, his music and his sexuality” in an autobiography due to hit shelves in October, the publisher announced on March 7th.

Simon Spotlight Entertainment announced that the book is titled “Out of Sync” and promises a “behind-the-scenes look at the 27-year-old singer’s days in boy band ’N Sync, as well as his headline-making venture to undergo astronaut training for a Russian space mission,” according to MSNBC.

Cowell Blasts Chicago Day Recipient, Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson’s career has exploded ever since she was voted off of the hit tv show American Idol. The singer-actress has won multiple awards including an Academy Award for best supporting actress, and now the city of Chicago has given Hudson a day in her honor.

Mayor Richard Daley proclaimed yesterday (March 6th) as “Jennifer Hudson Day’’ to honor the rising star, whose Cinderella story took her from Chicago’s South Side to the Hollywood A-list.

Joel Madden Accused Of Battery By Paparazzi

A female photographer has recently accused Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden of battery charges, according to police reports.

“A woman came in yesterday and filed a complaint,” Lt. Mitch McCann of the Beverly Hills Police Department said Tuesday. “She claims Mr. Madden hit her with the heel of his hand. He allegedly made forcible contact.”

TMZ first reported the alleged incident, which happened outside the popular Beverly Hills eatery Mr. Chow’s on Sunday.
