With such high ratings, Fox’s ‘American Idol’ keeps coming up with more and more shows. In the latest news, the highly successful reality TV series that turns contestant’s musical careers from rags to riches is going to present a charity event called “Idol Gives Back”.
“The network will present a two-night charity special to benefit relief programs helping children in America and Africa. Idol Gives Back is in partnership with the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund (CPEF), and the special will air Tuesday, April 24 from 8-9 p.m., followed up by an expanded results show airing Wednesday, April 25 from 8 to 10 p.m.”

No longer willing to be the ‘good girl’ and hold back, Hilary Duff is set to lash out at her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden and his girlfriend Nicole Richie on her new album.
According to TeenMusic.com, the 19-year-old’s upcoming album, Dignity, is due out next month and appears to touch on her feelings about her failed romance with Madden and his rebound relationship with Richie.

In a story similar to, yet completely overshadowed by the Anna Nicole Smith saga, James Brown has been moved to a tomb at the home of one of his daughters in South Carolina. This comes a mere 11 weeks after he died and they’re not done yet! Another awards show has come and gone. Last night, the Soul Train Awards saw top honors bestowed upon Mary J Blige and Jamie Foxx.
Disappointingly for show producers, neither turned up to collect their awards at the ceremony held in Pasadena, California, on Saturday.

Authorities in New Hampshire have reported that Brad Delp, the lead singer for the rock band Boston, has been found dead at his home. A spokesman for the Atkinson police department called Delp’s death “untimely” and said that that there is no indication of foul play.
