Rosie O’Donnell Welcomes Britney Spears To Tour

This summer, one of the hot ticket tours we’ll be seeing quite a bit of is the True Colors tour, hosted by Cyndi Lauper.  And Britney Spears’ aspiration to be part of the action has Rosie O’Donnell excited.

The ever-famous Rosie Blog included a loving message to the “Toxic” singer.  “Brit, if you’re watching, honey, you and me – we’re gonna share, like, a backstage moment, ‘cause I love you, kid!”

It’s summertime, and that means music festivals.  Here in the States we boast such events as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and the Vans Warped Tour.  Across the pond in England, the Glastonbury Festival is a big-ticket attraction (with over 180,000 in attendance), and Kate Moss and Pete Doherty were among the celebrity sites to be seen.

With their hazardous relationship constantly in the public eye, Pete and Kate are virtually inseparable these days.  So when it came time for Pete’s band Babyshambles to take the stage at the English music fest, Kate was close behind.

Britney Spears Enlists In Lauper’s “True Colors”

Despite the fact that the release of her new album has been delayed until 2008, Britney Spears has made fans happy by announcing that she’ll be appearing in concert with pop singer/gay rights activist Cyndi Lauper.

In the ’True Colors‘ show to be held at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on June 30, the ‘Lucky’ songstress will be teaming up with Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes with special guest Jeffree Star and host Margaret Cho.

Rihanna Revisits Past Headaches

Not only did she have to deal with being raised by a drug addicted father, Rihanna also endured years of CAT scans over worry that she had a brain tumor. With such a testing upbringing, success couldn’t have struck a more deserving young woman.

In a recent interview, the Umbrella songstress said that she had such severe headaches during her growing years that doctors thought she had brain tumor.  The ‘Unfaithful’ star underwent medical testing from the age of 8 up until she was 13 years-old.
