Looking ever-so-sexy as she took the stage, Beyonce Knowles gave a powerful performance at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin, Germany on Thursday (November 5).

After strutting her stuff on the red carpet, the 28-year-old tossed on a sexy red frock as she belted out her new song, “Sweet Dreams.”

Igniting the crowd, U2 was in Berlin for a free mini-concert on Thursday in front of the Brandenburg Gate, playing singles and even a duet with Jay-Z while the show was covered from a public view by a nearly 6 ½ foot high metal barrier.

Bono said hello to the crowd with German words “Berlin, Du bist wunderbar!” (Berlin, you are wonderful!) and the band played a 30-minute, six-song set that featured “Sunday, Bloody Sunday,” “One Love” and “Beautiful Day.”

Sticking to her word, Katy Perry gave a sultry performance during the 2009 MTV European Music Awards on Thursday (November 5).

The “ Hot N Cold” singer dazzled the O2 Arena audience as she performed “a medley of the Best Song nominees - including her own unique cabaret-style versions of Beyonce’s Halo and Kings Of Leon’s Use Somebody.”
