Amazon Launches Movie Download Service

Amazon launches movie download service called Unbox, first download free

Exciting news!!! Amazon.com has announced the launch of Amazon Unbox™, a new digital video download service offering customers thousands of television shows, movies and other video content from more than 30 studio and network partners from Hollywood and around the world. Unbox is the only video download service to offer DVD-quality picture. In addition, Unbox RemoteLoad™ technology allows customers to buy from one PC (such as an office computer) and download to another (such as a home computer).

Amazon currently has a promotion allowing you your first download for free. Sounds really cool. I get annoyed with Apple’s current downloads as the quality is low, whereas Amazon is stating that they are DVD-quality, therefore I have high hopes for them.  Hey it’s free so it’s worth a try, right? Get yourself something to watch today at Amazon Unbox™.

Orlando Bloom Looking Sexy on the Today Show

Haven Movie - Zoe Saldana and Orlando Bloom

A newly single Orlando Bloom was looking hot on a the Today Show this morning. He was promotion his new film, “Haven” which stars Orlando, Zoe Saldana and Bill Paxton.

Haven is an edgy, suspenseful, viscerally gripping ensemble film in which unconnected lives intersect and ignite a violent chain of events that turns tranquility into chaos. In an instant, greed collides with innocence and passion goes up against those who forbid it, and all at once an idyllic tropical refuge becomes anything but safe.

Haven opens September 15th in select cities, hopefully mine will be one of them!

Jennifer Lopez Quits Dallas over John Travolta & Script

Jennifer Lopez allegedly quit the ‘Dallas’ movie because she didn’t want to work with John Travolta. J.Lo was set to play J.R. Ewing’s troubled wife, Sue Ellen, in the adaptation of popular TV drama but turned her back on the project last week.

Jennifer Lopez’s representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, confirmed her departure, but refused to give a reason for her surprise decision.

Supposedly, thr reason she dropped Dallas is because Lopez hated the script and wasn’t happy that Travolta had been handed the role of her on-screen husband. A source told New York Post: “The script sucks. And John Travolta? If it had been a man’s man like Ed Harris or Tommy Lee Jones, but you don’t just go from doing ‘Hairspray’ to ‘Dallas’. “

Since the movie was announced it has been beset with problems. Original director Robert Luketic quit the project earlier this year due to “creative differences” and was replaced by ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ director Gurinda Chadha.

Jennifer Lopez is Out of Dallas Movie

Dallas Cast Photo - Original Dallas TV Series being Made into Movie Starring John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez (now dropped out of movie)

Jennifer Lopez has dropped out of the 2007 film version of Dallas.  “She is out of Dallas,” says Lopez’s rep Leslie Sloane Zelnik.

Jennifer was set to play the role of alcoholic Sue Ellen, opposite John Travolta, who will play J.R. Ewing.

Hmmm, and to think she wouldn’t let them cast Jessica Simpson because of her “Diva” attitude. Wonder who else they wouldn’t hire for her that got her angry enough to drop out of Dallas? Who will they get to replace her?

Kayla comments on: Lindsay Lohan: Not a Lesbian, Says Mom

We KNOW Loser Blohan IS NOT A LESBIAN. Lesbians don’t go after boyfriends who just had a baby with someone, they don’t screw any and every guy who wants to. We also know - White Oprah - that Sam is her DRUG DEALER/GIRLFRIEND.  Loser Linds is lying to all of us regarding her sobriety. She gets her drugs from Sam and her whorish mother Dina probably does too. And little sis, stay away from your mom and lying Linds. They are bad news, sex hounds, coke heads. Linds has no talent. She doesn’t belong with celebrities or on these websites.
