Michelle Rodriguez: Dumpster Duty

She’s used to the swanky Hollywood scene, but yesterday Michelle Rodriguez was a long way from the Tinseltown treatment as she picked up trash on the side of the road.

The “Fast and the Furious” actress was spotted sporting an orange safety vest and hard hat as she toted large bags of garbage along the Los Angeles freeways.

It looks like Kiefer Sutherland isn’t the only Hollywood star that’ll be doing hard time in the coming months.  Yesterday Michelle Rodriguez learned her fate: six months behind bars for violating her probation in her DUI case.

The Fast and the Furious actress was directed to report to a Lost Angeles County jail no later than Christmas Eve, December 24th.  This year, “Merry Christmas” won’t have quite the same ring to it for Rodriguez.

Rodriguez and Tarantino’s “Grindhouse”

Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s ”Grindhouse“ is being touted in ads as “the movie event of the year.”

The well-reviewed, double-feature “Grindhouse” is a three-hour plus re-creation of a night at the movies in the early seventies, or thereabouts. While it has been heaped with praise, others say it’s no “Cabaret,” “The Godfather” or “Sounder.”
