DNA Proves Eddie Murphy’s Paternity

Melanie Brown must be relieved.  She’s been telling press that Eddie Murphy is the father of her daughter, and now she has the test results to prove it.

“It is such a relief that this is finally over. Mel has known all along that Eddie is the father and can’t believe it has taken a paternity test to prove it,” said a source close to Brown.

David Beckham’s US Move: Bittersweet

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that David Beckham is planning to move to the United States this summer to take on the role of pumping up soccer in America.  He’ll be joining the Los Angeles Galaxy in hopes of making the sport into the phenomena that it is everywhere else in the world.  But the move is bittersweet.

The stylish soccer stud will clearly miss the camaraderie he shares with his Real Madrid teammates. Roberto Carlos, Mahamadou Diarra and Fernando Gago, were spotted joking with Beckham at a recent car event in the Spanish capital. And last week David joined some of his closest friends from the team for a gathering at one of his favorite restaurants.  They presented him with an engraved silver tray and told him that he’d always have a home in Madrid. 

Mel B and Eddie Murphy’s Baby Drama

Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) said that she was in “complete shock” when Eddie Murphy told a reporter he wanted DNA testing before acknowledging he’d impregnated her.

“I came to see my mum for a few days as I wanted to see her in person. Then I got a flight home, landed and there was a sea of photographers. There were people shouting about a DNA test . . . I tried to call Eddie, and I couldn’t get through. Then I got through, and he said he would call me back, and that was it. He never called back,” Brown told OK! magazine in a recent interview.

Mel B Names Eddie Murphy As The Daddy

A paternity test may be just what the doctor ordered for Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown. With a befitting Friday the 13th announcement, “Scary Spice” Mel B has listed Eddie Murphy’s name on the birth certificate of her infant daughter, her publicist stated yesterday.

The 31-year-old former pop-star gave birth to the child on April 3 in Santa Monica, California. Neither Murphy nor Brown’s reps were available for more details on the baby girl.
