There’s a huge resurgence of awareness among Hollywood celebrities regarding the deplorable conditions in Darfur and Sudan.  And Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are doing something about it.

The “Good Will Hunting” buddies were spotted hamming it up on the red carpet at the Ante Up for Africa poker tournament at Las Vegas’ Rio Hotel and Casino last night (July 2).

Enjoying an evening out on the town, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted dining out at Nobu Malibu with good friends Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso on Saturday night (June 28).

The “Good Will Hunting” co-stars kept things casual, with Damon sporting a long sleeve t-shirt, jeans and a CAT cap while Affleck wore khaki pants with a buttondown top.

Matt Damon Enters the “Green Zone”

Spotted out to work on Tuesday, Matt Damon dressed the part of an American soldier on the set of his new movie Green Zone, which is being filmed in Central London.

The film is “a thriller about a pair of CIA agents on the trail of certain Weapons of Mass Destruction and a foreign correspondent following their mission - inspired by Imperial Life in the Emerald City.”

Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso strolled arm-in-arm after an evening out at London’s ever-popular Cipriani restaurant on Saturday night (March 15).

The couple are coming off of the big announcement that they are expecting their second child together and third in all, as Luciana has another child from a previous marriage.

At the 2008 Empire Awards, which were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Damon stood proudly in front of the winners’ boards with his Best Film award for The Bourne Ultimatum in hand.
