Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen: Good Friends

Amid the plethora of reports regarding the death of actor Heath Ledger, it just so happens that Mary-Kate Olsen’s name has been mentioned frequently.  And it turns out the “Full House” actress was very close to the late “Brokeback Mountain” star.

Originally meeting over the summer of 2006 while Heath was living at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, California, Olsen and Ledger became fast friends.  And according to an inside source, it went beyond friendship.

This week could be a big one for Mary-Kate Olsen.  She’s always been precocious, but after her new movie “Wackness” premieres at the Sundance Film Festival, she may bust out of the “Full House” typecasting for good.

Yesterday, the “Full House” cutie was out in New York City picking up some decorations.  She looked like she was barely fighting off the cold as she gripped her coat and attempted to stay bundled up.
