Mariah Carey Claims Eminem’s Obsessed Over Her

According to an interview in the upcoming edition of Playboy magazine, Mariah Carey claims that Eminem is “obsessed” with her and is not sure why.

After a rumored fling between the two was leaked to the press, Mariah denied having a tryst with the bad-boy rapper, which didn’t impress Eminem.

In the recent interview reported by AHN, the singer has begun to question what could be wrong with the newly divorced hip-hop star.

Mariah Carey To Grace The Cover Of Playboy

Pop star Mariah Carey will appear on the March 2007 cover of Playboy in a skimpy skin-colored bathing suit. The singer surely made some money to spend with her credit cards for the shoot...but is there an ulterior motive?

The chart-topping singer posed for the men’s magazine to accompany a feature on the “Sexiest Comeback” for which she provides answers to 20 “revealing” questions.

Media reports speculated the star would be making an appearance in Playboy and photos from the shoot were leaked online this past week.

Mariah Carey and Paul McCartney Possible ‘Idol’ Guests

Mariah is named to be among the guest talent courted for the new season of “American Idol,” which kicks off its sixth season on January 16, 2007.

The show, which crowns winners based on cingular cell phone fan votes, has been a television favorite for the past 5 years.

The move to get Mariah makes a lot of sense, seeing that “Idol” judge Randy Jackson happens to be Mimi’s longtime friend and collaborator. He says they have “tossed it around a bit” but have yet to confirm her appearance.

Meanwhile, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney is also rumored to be on the season 6 guest list, which hopes to live up to its previous season of professional talent – capped by a surprise appearance from Prince during the season finale.

Mariah Is What The Media Wants Her To Be

What a wonderful world which we live in. In a recent interview, Mariah Carey, wearing thick lip gloss, gushed that she believes the media decides what is sexy and she has always just gone along with what she has been exposed to.

The singer explained: “I think that a lot of women are just trying to live up to the stereotypes and to the standard that’s set on TV and in print media, which is airbrushed women who weigh three pounds. And it’s not fair. It’s not easy. But everybody gets really protective of me. They’re like, ‘Be less sexy’.” Mariah has been known to try different diets, along with stints in pilates, yoga, and other exercise routines.
