As the Winter blahs plague the rest of America, over in New York City there’s a definite flair in the air.  And with Fashion Week still going strong, stars like Mandy Moore and Sophia Bush have been spotted checking out the latest trends.

Mandy was seen checking out the Ports 1961 show yesterday as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  It was all going down at the Promenade at Bryant Park.  Port’s “Global Soul, Urban Spirit” motto was in full force as Moore observed the fashion-forward line.

Mandy and Minka Take In Peter Som’s Show

Talk about a stunning duo! Mandy Moore and Minka Kelly were spotted chatting it up earlier today at the Peter Som 2008 fashion show at NYC’s Bryant Park on Monday.

The A Walk to Remember and her Friday Night Lights pal then took their seats in the front row - enjoying Som’s tweed, flannel and fur offerings.

Herve Leger Show Brings Out the Stars

BCBG famous designer Max Azria presented his Herve Leger collection on Sunday at New York Fashion Week, drawing a front row laden with celebrity faces.

According to press reports, the event just so happened to be the first time a new line was presented at the Bryant Park tents to editors, stylists and retailers along with likely customers.

Palazzo Hotel Casino Opening Brings Out the Stars

It’s not every day that a $1.9 billion hotel and casino opens in Las Vegas.  So when the Palazzo opened its doors yesterday, there were plenty of celebrities in attendance to check out the lavish luxurious new palace.

The Palazzo is the largest resort built on the Vegas strip for the last three years.  And along with a Wolfgang Puck signature restaurant and Jay-Z’s 40/40 nightclub, they also have a Barney’s New York boutique.

It seems Katie Holmes has sparked a bangy trend.  Fellow former teen sensation Mandy Moore was spotted out and about yesterday sporting an ‘80s bangalicious hairdo of her own.

The “A Walk to Remember” actress was seen leaving the Bungalow salon yesterday.  She was keeping it comfy casual in a pair of sweatpants and a zip-up fleece hoodie, while carrying a flashy red crocodile purse.
