Jayde Nicole is Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year

Her life is forever changed, as Jayde Nicole has been named Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year, the magazine announced at a luncheon on Thursday (May 8).

A 22-year-old Ontario native, Nicole is Canada’s first Playmate of the Year since Shannon Tweed was honored with the title in 1982.

Hilary Duff and Katharine McPhee Get Alluring

It seems like there’s a new celebrity-studded benefit every week.  And last night Hilary Duff, her boyfriend Mike Comrie, and Katharine McPhee were spotted at Allure magazine’s Most Alluring Bodies photography exhibition.

The whole shindig, held at Skylight Studios in New York City, was to benefit Skin Cancer Research and included a silent auction, and plenty of celebrity skin.

They’re the superstar actor couple with the ever-expanding brood of children, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were collectively named among the most influential people in the world.

Time magazine released their 2008 list of the world’s 100 most influential people, and Brangelina landed at #21.  And they even got props from George Clooney for their efforts to change the world.

Kate Hudson Tops “100 Most Beautiful People” List

The always-interesting issue of People magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People is on the way, and Kate Hudson was just revealed to be the cover girl and number one pick for 2008.

The 29-year-old mother heads a list that includes the likes of Salma Hayek, Rumer Willis, Mary J. Blige, Amanda Beard, the Gossip Girl cast and cute couple Eva Longoria & Tony Parker.

Miley Cyrus Photographer Thinks Portrait is “Beautiful”

With so much drama surrounding the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair shoot, photographer Annie Leibovitz has finally piped in - offering her perspective on the controversial “topless” shot.

“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” Leibovitz said in a statement issued earlier today. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”
