Gossip Girl in Chinatown

Though they’re usually most at home on their Hamptons set, the cast of Gossip Girl received a little lesson in culture when shooting was relocated to Manhattan’s Chinatown district Tuesday (August 5).

And it looks like Blake Lively’s hair had a massive freakout, as she was spotted sporting a super-volumized coif as she held her pet pooch in between takes.

Leighton Meester: Back In New York City

Over the weekend she was out on the West Coast for all of the 2008 Teen Choice action in Los Angeles.  But last night Leighton Meester returned to New York City, home of her hit show Gossip Girl.

The brunette babe touched down at John F Kennedy International Airport late Monday night after a long trans-American flight looking a bit disheveled sans makeup.

Though the 2008 Teen Choice Awards don’t hit the airwaves until tonight at 8pm EST on FOX, we already have the list of the night’s winners - and Gossip Girl, the Jonas Brothers, and Miley Cyrus all took home some serious surfboards!

As the host of the evening, the “Hannah Montana” hottie took home three of the four awards she was up for, losing out to the Jonas Brothers in the Choice Music: Single category.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 Premieres in NYC

In a summer filled with record-breaking Hollywood blockbusters, it’s nice to know that there’s a good chick flick in theatres as well.  And last night the stars of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” glammed up the big New York City premiere.

Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn all showed up outside the Ziegfelt Theatre to pose for the paparazzi before heading inside to enjoy movie.

Gossip Girl Stars: Hard at Work on the Long Island Set

With the new season of Gossip Girl quickly approaching (new episodes hit the CW on September 1st) the cast has been hard at work with a grueling filming schedule.

And yesterday (July 24), Taylor Momsen, Blake Lively, Jessica Szohr, Chase Crawford, and Ed Westwick were all present and accounted for on the Long Island City, New York set.
