The 54-year-old actor and his 34-year-old wife named the 8-pound 15-ounce boy Hayes Logan Costner, a name Kevin derived from the “cowboy character” in an upcoming western movie.

Costner became a father again on Sunday morning - this time to Cayden Wyatt Costner.  The newborn entered the world at 10:30 a.m. at a Los Angeles hospital.  He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

Kevin Costner Rocks His Way Into Court

For most reading this article, the mere fact that Kevin Costner has his own band retains shock value in itself.  There probably was good reason as to why the existence of such a band never hit the front pages, but leave it to a classic, public lawsuit to launch the 15 minute music career of a Hollywood relic.

Costner, 52, filed the lawsuit Tuesday, accusing Mahee Worldwide Ventures Inc. of breach of contract and fraud. In all, Kevin is seeking damages in excess of $8.5 million.  Costner is the lead singer in the Kevin Costner Band, for which he also writes songs. The band is managed by one of Costner’s companies, Kevin’s Music LLC, which he controls the majority of.
