Justin Timberlake To Take A Country Break

With the pop world swooning over his “SexyBack” tendencies, Justin Timberlake isn’t about to rest on his laurels.  The former N’sync-er has been busy writing songs for Macy Gray and Rihanna and seems to really like it.

The 26-year old sex symbol has reportedly decided to pursue the songwriter front even more and take some time away from the spotlight.  A native Tennessean, JT wants to get back to his roots while exploring other musical flavors.

2007 Australia Video Music Awards

The MTV Australia Video Music Awards took place in Sydney, Austalia last night (April 29), with American acts stealing the show.

Punk rockers 30 Seconds to Mars came up big, with The Kill being named Video of the Year and Best Rock Video. The Jared Leto led band beat out the likes of Australian bands Wolfmother’s Joker and the Thief, as well as Christina Aguilera, Eskimo Joe, and Jet.

Running Scared: Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz had quite the scare during a day out shopping in NYC earlier this week. Apparently, the incident culminated with the ‘Shrek’ star running and screaming from paparazzi after they caught her off guard.

Diaz was at a NY fashion and lifestyle emporium called Lounge, when “a group of photographers snuck in the rear entrance and surrounded her.”

Britney Spears: House of Blues Concerts?

Britney Spears has been keeping her schedule jam-packed, continuing rehearsals on Thursday for her rumored upcoming House of Blues performances next week.

Spears, who is also said to be penning a tell-all book, was spotted walking out of Millennium Dance Studio with 19-month-old son Sean Preston, carried by her cousin, Allie. Her other son, Jayden James, meanwhile, was transported by a security officer in a baby carrier covered by blankets.

Justin Timberlake Tour Takes Off

With Spring in the air and the school year coming to a close, one thing is for sure; Summer concert season is upon us.  A highlight for pop music fans is the Justin Timberlake tour.

The European leg of JT’s tour kicked off on Tuesday night.  Northern Ireland was the lucky land to be in, as his first show was in Belfast.  Apparently Timberlake indulged a bit, according to TeenMusic.com.
