Jonathan Rhys Meyers Talks On-Screen Exploits
He plays King Henry VIII on “The Tudors,” and Jonathan Rhys Meyers says his character’s sexual exploits are no big deal.
In a recent interview, Jonathan told press, “In The Tudors I’ve only slept with like 22 people. Which is not bad because if I go out in London on a Saturday night and I say to some handsome young dude or some handsome young girl that’s standing in the club: ‘How many people have you slept with this year?’ ‘Er about 50′. So it’s not so much.”

Getting back to work on his hit Showtime gig “The Tudors,” Jonathan Rhys Meyers was spotted on the Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland set yesterday (July 8).
The “August Rush” stud looked hunky in his medieval garb as he strolled around the lot and chatted in between scenes.

According to French reports, the 31-year-old actor allegedly assaulted an airport lounge employee while drunk on Saturday afternoon.
