Yesterday afternoon, Nicole Richie was spotted out enjoying a little sunbathing and water time with boyfriend Joel Madden in Hawaii. The expecting parents have been relaxing in the Aloha state for the past couple days as a way to celebrate Nicole’s 26th birthday.

Getting ever closer to her due date, Nicole is said to be worried about whether or not she’ll be able to handle the stress of her impending motherhood.

While she waits to give birth, herself, Nicole Richie celebrated her very own birthday yesterday with her boyfriend Joel Madden.

The couple retreated to Hawaii to celebrate the Simple Life babe’s 26th.  They reportedly laid out on the beach and listened to their iPods while occasionally making out.

Just days after word that a wedding is on the way, soon-to-be mother Nicole Richie and her Good Charlotte rocker boyfriend Joel Madden were spotted yesterday catching a flight out of LAX airport.

With all of the excitement of marriage and a child, rumor has it that the Simple Life star is getting advice from parenting gurus Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

When it comes down to it, having a baby is a pretty huge deal.  And while marriage is “definitely in their future” Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is focusing on his soon-to-be-born baby and his or her mother.

Early Release Was A Surprise To Nicole Richie

While the Los Angeles County Jail is notorious for cutting celebrities a break, Nicole Richie was “pleasantly surprised” to get released just 82 minutes after she was booked.

Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said, “Nicole was aware that most people with sentences similar to hers are booked and released in a matter of hours and she was hoping to be treated like everyone else.  Nevertheless, she was prepared to serve her entire four-day sentence had the Sheriff’s Department required her to do so.”
