According to the latest gossip reports, the two seem to be deepening their relationship.

Heath Ledger & Jake Gyllenhaal to play Gay Cowboys

Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal are in final negotiations to star as a pair of gay cowboys in Brokebrack Mountain, the next film from Crouching Tiger director Ang Lee.

Based on the novella by E Annie Proulx, Brokebrack Mountain ranges from 1963 to the mid-1980s and tells of a love affair between a midwestern ranch-hand and a Texas rodeo rider. more..

Hmm, not sure if I want to see this film or not. Heath is such a hottie, just thinking of him as a gay cowboy sort of ruins his image for me.
