Madonna and Friends Get Charitable

She’s conquered the world of pop culture, and now Madonna is putting her time and energy into overcoming the heartbreak and tragedy experienced by orphaned children in Malawi. 

The “Material Girl” hosted a celebrity-rich event on the lawns of the United Nations in New York City last night, and raised $3.7 million for two charities - Raising Malawi and Unicef.

With cup of coffee in hand to help warm her up on another chilly day, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted out in New York City yesterday morning.

Gwyneth Paltrow Doing “Fine” After Hospital Visit

Giving her fans a brief scare, actress Gwyneth Paltrow is said to be doing “fine” after a short trip to New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday afternoon.

“Yes she was at the hospital and is fine and now at home,” Paltrow’s rep told People magazine earlier today.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s All Smiles

Despite rumors of troubled waters in her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow was all smiles as she landed at LAX airport on Saturday.

And there’s good reason for the happiness, as, contrary to those supposed marital woes, Gwyn and her man “looked perfectly happy and in love” when they were spotted sharing a table at BLT Fish in Union Square recently.

Wearing a short skirt, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted out walking in NYC, giving a nice smile to the paparazzi as she ventured out for dinner.

The Academy Award winning actress is currently staying in the Big Apple while filming ”Two Lovers“ with Joaquin Phoenix.
